The royal heritage of Amsterdam is celebrated on the Dam Square, where lavish Town Hall, once a royal residence, takes us back to the Golden Age of the 17th century. This is also a perfect location to enjoy some local treats, such as the famous Dutch cheese or a spot of shopping.
