The continuously growing and developing Viking Village is a place out of ancient myths and for a moment you can feel the air of the Old Times. The site with it’s beautiful riverside, fishpond, tavern and other interesting buildings capture your glance for a rather long while.
Your viking tour is both educational and entertaining, suitable for all ages. Tour highlights include visit to a wooden Viking fortress and smoke sauna. Also you can discover the Viking in you by trying fun Viking games in this exceptional environment. Those simple activities including archery, ax throwing and trebuchet, which are sufficiently challenging to capture you fully and make everyone smile. Following a Viking theme tour outdoors with activities, the village experience continues with an introduction of Viking weapons indoors (swords, shields, arm and shoulder protection, iron protective gear). The participants can also take great photos with the different armory. Get answers to the questions if and when vikings ever wore helmets with horns and how long they actual were able to fight during the battles.
The playground at the Viking Village is also entirely unique. It is equipped with wonderful forts, a stone-lifting mechanism, a Viking ship on ‘stormy seas’, a witch’s hut, a log lifter, sandbox, swings and a number of other attractions for children to play and climb around on.
After the days activities you can relax and enjoy the tasty meal in the cozy local tavern.

Really good trip for all ages. Excellent guide in Neil who is extremely knowledgeable on Viking and Estonian history. We were there in the snow which actually added to the beauty of the place. Lunch was very good and the trip was well organised in terms of transportation. This was actually the second time my wife and I had done this trip and we enjoyed it so much the first time that we wanted our sons and granddaughter to see the place.
