Are you looking for something really “Swedish”, special or unique to bring home from your trip to Stockholm? Here are some suggestions on what to look for and where you’ll find it!
Trays with the Sergels Torg pattern – Bring home the pattern that covers the lower half of Sergels Torg in central Stockholm. Sold in Designtorget shops, among other places.
Candy – Pärlan’s is a 50’s styled place that makes the best soft caramels in town and packages them beautifully. Don’t miss the one with vanilla and sea salt! Many Swedes´ favorite candy is licorice and you´ll find all kinds at the stylish store Lakritsroten.
Clogs – Swedish clogs have become a hot item again. Go for a classic model with the Moheda brand (sold in most department stores) or a modern variation from Swedish Hasbeens.
Swedish Perfume – What makes Byredo unique is its simplicity and the relatively few ingredients they use. All the fragrances are unisex. In the shop, you will find perfumes, candles and body products, some of them made exclusively for the store.
Interior design – Svenskt Tenn is known for the colorful and unique Josef Frank textiles with floral and animal prints, as well as an amazing selection of furniture, lamps, and gifts.
