Getting from Riga to Tallinn while on your Baltic trip can be more then just a transfer. A guided tour trough the beautiful scenic countryside and historic sites on the way make it a very enjoyable day trip.
Following your pick-up in Riga, we are heading for the beautiful Gauja river valley. Sigulda Castle ruins, built by the legendary medieval order of Livonian Brothers of the Sword is a well preserved castle ruins complex located on the edge of the ancient Gauja river offering dramatic views to the steep slopes below.
Gauja National Park is the largest and oldest of the national parks in Latvia, characterized by eye catching variety of land forms, sandstone hills, picturesque views and a unique atmosphere.
After lunch we will be continuing towards Pärnu we will see the panoramic Baltic sea coast before arriving to the summer capital of Estonia. The city of Pärnu offers a small town charm paired with the liveliness of a seaside resort. We will explore the long beach promenade and old town center.
Thereafter we will end our day with a countryside drive to Tallinn, ending at your hotel or designated location according to your travel itinerary.
