The day trip to Riga starts with a private transfer to Tallinn Coach Station, where you will board a comfortable public bus equipped with free Wi-Fi, selection of hot drinks and plenty of leg room on board. Your local tour guide in Riga is pleased to greet you at the Riga coach station to lead you on an introductory walking tour.
After some free time for lunch, we will tour the historical center of medieval old town featuring cobble-stone streets and an abundance of architectural gems. We will see the striking Town Hall, House of Blackheads and the Riga Cathedral buildings.
During the panoramic city tour toward the celebrated Art Nouveau Quarter, we will admire the picturesque Daugava riverbank, Latvian National Opera and Freedom Monument as well as the Riga Central Market. As a true mecca of this distinct style in art and modern architecture, the opulently decorated stone buildings are like no other- a true expression of creative freedom on famous Albert and Elizabeth Streets. Admiring the detailed work on captivating facades allows us to imagine how splendid the city was back in the 1900´s.
The guided sightseeing drive ends back in Riga Coach station in time for return trip towards Tallinn. After arrival in Tallinn, your private transfers returns you in comfort to your hotel.
